Carla Collenette

Carla holds a master’s degree in management learning and leadership. She has worked as a coach, facilitator and culture change expert for large companies as well as the United Nations and various nongovernmental organizations. She has taught at IMD and INSEAD business schools where she co-directed executive development programs focusing on sustainability leadership.

As well as working as a consultant to organizations, Carla has held management positions in Getty Images (London) and at the World Wildlife Fund (Switzerland) where she was responsible for the development of strategic partnerships and the design, delivery and marketing of the One Planet Leaders program.

Carla’s first degree was in health sciences. She began her professional career in health care, gradually transitioning into group dynamics and learning and development after working at Brathay Hall and seeing the power of experiential learning to affect personal change.

Having worked in a huge variety of settings, from gender diversity training in Senegal to CEO retreats in Europe, Carla is a strong believer in the importance of integrity and standing up for what you care about. She volunteers for local organizations such as Embercombe and is a facilitator for Rising Women Rising World.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Carla has lived in Switzerland and Spain but has recently returned to her home in the South West of England, where she enjoys walks in the countryside, local ale and improvisation theater.
