Jorge leads Axialent’s practice in Chile. His career as an advisor and consultant spans more than 17 years, servicing large multinational organizations in many different countries in North America, South America and Europe, from economic sectors such as telecommunications, airline and transportation, consumer products, retail, manufacturing, mining, oil and energy, media broadcasting as well as public and nonprofit organizations.
In the early 2000s, Jorge’s fast-paced career as a strategy and performance management consultant eventually led him to realize that better strategies and business models, coupled with solid implementation execution and measurement, were not enough to allow clients to go beyond a certain threshold in business performance. A piece was missing: how to help leaders develop more encompassing visions, be more inspired and nurture more effective cultures, as well as how to facilitate teams in their developing of practices that lead to high motivation, involvement and capability, and thus high performance. Jorge dove deeply into identifying key drivers that make people develop and accomplish great visions, a journey that led him to a wide variety of techniques and understandings, which he now successfully integrates into servicing clients.
As an international speaker, Jorge delivers dynamic, paradigm-shifting lectures in unique fusions of state-of-the-art science, day-to-day pragmatism and megatrends in organizational and human development as well as emerging business and social dynamics. Jorge has performed as a director for several organizations and was a co-founder and partner of Vantaz Consulting, as well as a senior consultant for Ernst & Young Consulting LLP in his early career.
He graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a Master’s degree in business from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Jorge enjoys nature and the ocean greatly. He currently lives in Chile with his wife, their two daughters and four dogs.
