Raphael is the USA managing partner for Axialent and a global transformation lead (facilitator) on select engagements. He formerly served as a corporate expat, a corporate strategist and the president/co-owner of an innovation strategy consulting firm (in Chicago, Connecticut and Vancouver) advising 25 percent of the Fortune 100 on business innovation and adaptive culture transformation.

  • He successfully helps leaders pilot their organizations through strategic transitions (e.g., M&A, JV, corporate restructuring, digital transformation, CX, business model redesign, explosive startups with rapid-growth/blitzscaling cultural priorities, culture change, culture of innovation,) enabling increased performance under increased stress without sacrificing momentum or trust.
  • He has deep experience in unconscious bias and its impact on future business outcomes. He works with organizations to connect gender, diversity and inclusion efforts directly to business transformation priorities.

Raphael co-authored the book “Free the Idea Monkey…to focus on what matters most!”
In 2014, the book was introduced to the Ph.D./D.B.A. Program in Values-Driven Leadership and Organizational Change for senior executives at the Center for Values-Driven Leadership at Benedictine University. He was a Bloomberg Businessweek columnist for many years and has created and taught postgraduate innovation (at CEDIM in Monterrey MX, Mexico City) on innovation leadership and new paradigms in business for executives worldwide. He has also served as a board member for Conscious Capitalism, Inc. and earned his MBA from the Quinlan School of Business — Loyola University of Chicago.
